Field Trip to The Museum of Portimão and Vila Vita Parc Resort

On the 8th February 2024, the class 12th Ub_Uc went on a field trip to the Museum of Portimão and to the Wine Cellar of the resort Vila Vita Parc with the teachers Carla Janeira and Susana Nassa.
The museum was an old sardine canning factory and we could see all the factory machinery, as well as the design devices.

In the morning, in the museum, we watched a video about the process of sardine canning.
In the afternoon, we went to the resort Vila Vita Parc, which is German, but whose owners value all Portuguese and local products.

In this resort we visited several kitchen facilities and The Wine Cellar, which is located 8meter underground and which has a unique architecture in the Algarve. It has a collection of 8000 bottles, being the most expensive a bottle of Port Wine and which costs 12500€.
We returned to school at 4p.m. We appreciated the trip very much. It was useful for our area and also relaxing.
