Bernardo Lopes, Film Director, MASTERCLASS
On 21st of January 2021, Bernardo Lopes, a film director from Quarteira came to Loulé Secondary school to tell students about the first steps in his career.
The English teacher, Susana Nassa invited the students from class 10º Uk/Uu to participate in the event, which could enlighten them about multimedia.
During the masterclass, Bernardo Lopes told about his life as a student and director and he also showed some his films trailers.
The director told the students he failed two years in secondary school, because he did not like his area. However, he finished 12thgrade and decided to follow his dream. He mentioned this episode to encourage young people to follow their dreams and not to give up, regardless of the obstacles.
The students thought that the masterclass was interesting, inspiring and motivating.
